Brass insert fittings used at the threaded joints of a plastic piping system

Brass Pipes & Fittings

Every plumbing system eventually meets a metal fixture — a tap, a valve, a water meter — and that's exactly where plastic threads are weakest. Brass fittings exist to carry that load: a threaded metal insert moulded or fitted into the plastic body, giving the joint the mechanical strength that repeated tightening and loosening demands.

WorldFlow's brass fitting range includes FTA (female threaded adaptor) and MTA (male threaded adaptor) fittings for use with UPVC and CPVC pipe systems, machined from corrosion-resistant brass alloy and finished to seal reliably against the mating fixture.

These fittings matter most exactly where failures are most disruptive — at taps, valves and meters that get operated repeatedly over a system's lifetime. A worn or undersized brass insert is a common point of leaks that have nothing to do with the pipe itself.

Tell us which fixtures you're connecting to and the pipe system you're running, and we'll specify the right brass transition fitting for the joint.
